It is scheduled for 20 de Março, the headquarters building of Tourism of Porto and North of Portugal, em Viana do Castelo, the closing session of the 2nd edition of the ALA + T (National Administration Qualification Program Municipal Place for Tourism).
Sponsored by the Institute of Tourism Planning and Development (IPDT) and support of Turismo de Portugal, b-learning program lasted 65 contact hours, plus online tracking on the platform developed specifically for the project.
During the closing session will present the 13 projects developed during the 2nd edition of the program and announced the winners. Taking place from 10h00 to 16h30, the session will be attended by the Tourism Secretary of State, Rita Marques and President of Tourism of Portugal, and also develop topics such as "Strategies to manage the growth of tourism", and "Tourist dynamics of municipalities and the contribution of ALA + T Program".
This program aims to create a network of technicians specialized in tourism to enhance the local and regional tourism, as an economic development factor, environmental preservation, cultural recovery and social welfare. Throughout its two editions have had the presence of 232 participants from Municipalities, Intermunicipal Communities, Associations of Municipalities, Entities Regional Tourism and Parish.
