The figures for the third quarter of the year show an increase of 2,8% the number of passengers in the whole of 44 platforms managed by VINCI Airports. In total over 51,3 milhões de passageiros, a number considered to be record. The only area with negative results was Japan. The recurrence of exceptional climacteric events conditioned the growth - the proof is that the values excluding Japan give an increase of 6,1%.
In Europe especially the new records set by French airports (8,5%) and by the Portuguese (4,2%). No total dos 10 airports in the European territory VINCI Airports handled 17,3 million passengers between July and September.
Portugal was one of the best performers. In the first nine months of the year surpassed the 42 milhões de passageiros (mais de 2 milhões de passageiros, ou 10,3%, do que em 2017), with a (good) provision of all airlines.
