A Minor Hotels announced that Miguel Garcia, Director General of the Tivoli Hotel Avenida Liberdade, desde 2018, He was promoted to regional director Minor Hotels Operations for Urban Hotels Portugal, the segment of city hotels.
Miguel Garcia, professional with almost experience 20 years in the hotel sector nationally and internationally, will now earn the general direction with the new functions of Regional Director of Operations, in order to strengthen the positioning of the city hotels.
This professional started his career through several hotels in Portugal, but also abroad, Le Meridien Copacabana Hotel not, Four Seasons Hotel & Resorts in Lisbon and Geneva. He spent nine years in Brazil where he was general manager of Hotel Ponta dos Ganchos Exclusive Resort, Relais & Chateaux, located in Florianopólis. It was also Director of Operations of Belmond Copacabana Palace and CEO of Tivoli Sao Paulo Mofarrej. Em 2018 He returned to Portugal to take two units of Minor Hotels in the center of Lisbon.
