Portuguese economy grows 2,8% in the second quarter

 

The Portuguese economy grew back 2,8% in the second quarter of 2017 compared to the same period last year and, Comparing with the previous quarter, grew 0,2%, announced the National Institute of statistics (INE).

According to the quick estimates of quarterly national accounts relating to the period between April and June, the gross domestic Product (PIB) aumentou 2,8% counterparts in volume, a variation identical to that recorded in the previous quarter.

The Portuguese economy remains so, for the second consecutive quarter, the quarterly performance more positive counterpart of the last 10 anos, that equals the growth in the last quarter of 2007, When the Portuguese economy grew too 2,8%.
