The opening seminar of the second edition of the ALA + T program – Qualify for Tourism occur on 19 de Setembro, the Cultural and Congress Center of Caldas da Rainha. The event counts on the presence of the Secretary of State for Tourism, Ana Mendes Godinho and Luís Araújo, President of Tourism of Portugal and starts at 9:30 am.
In the program that makes up the Opening Seminar panels included guided by national and international experts renowned, como John Bowen (University of Houston), Nico Mulder (IAmsterdam) e Caroline Couret (Creative Tourism Network).
ALA + T program is sponsored by Turismo de Portugal and the IPDT and aims to train professionals and create a working network in tourism. The program runs from September this year and February 2020, num total de mais de 65 contact hours between executives, senior technical staff of municipalities and municipal entities inter and managers of Turismo de Portugal.
ALA + T is complemented Pro Master thematic classes, oriented managers of Turismo de Portugal and will take place between October and November.
The first edition of the ALA + T ran from September 2018 and February this year and had 160 participants "who were organized into working groups to present development projects into their territory. Destes, three were chosen to be supported by Turismo de Portugal, com um total de 700 a thousand euros."
