TAP and airBaltic in code-share agreement

TAP Air Portugal and the airline airBaltic Latvia concluded a cooperation agreement, known as code-share agreement.

This partnership will allow passengers of airBaltic and more diversified options for travel within the vast network of TAP Air Portugal, including the Brazil, Portugal and Africa.

Por sua vez, This agreement will offer passengers of TAP Air Portugal a better connection to the Baltic, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.

At the time of signature of the agreement, Martin Gauss, Ceo of airBaltic, claimed to be very satisfied with this agreement with TAP and explains that the codeshare with TAP will allow the airBaltic sell flights to Riga, Vilnius and Tallinn to the Portuguese network TAP, as for Africa and Brazil destinations, linking the Baltic to the better world.

Por sua vez, Antonoaldo Nair, Ceo of TAP, afirmou que the latest partnership with airBaltic will allow customers TAP take advantage of new direct flights to Latvia and liaison offices to the Baltic countries, adding convenience options and trips to Northern Europe, in complementarity with the direct services from TAP to Scandinavia and Finland.
