The new tourist office of Parque das Nações, located on Alameda dos Oceanos, in front of the Vasco da Gama shopping center, the FIL – International fair of Lisbon and the MEO Arena, has just been inaugurated through a partnership between ATL – Lisbon Tourism Association and the Junta de Freguesia do Parque das Nações.
Installed in one of the main arteries of the Parque das Nações, the new tourist office aims to respond to the strong tourist attraction, families and visitors who move, leisure or business, by providing a better experience for the Portuguese capital.
The new space also has the support of ERT-RL – Regional Tourism Authority of Lisbon region, Once the Nations Park is one of the microcentralidades of Lisbon considered in the strategic plan for tourism of Lisbon region 2015-2019.
For ATL, the continuous investment in innovation of services available in tourist offices was one of the key factors for the good results obtained during the first half of 2015. In this period were recorded about of 1.289.733 million attendances, nos 13 tourist offices in the region of Lisbon.
