From the summer of 2018, the passengers on the Lufthansa Group can book the Light fare for economy class for the routes to North America, operated by Lufthansa, SWISS, Brussels Airlines and Austrian Airlines.
This is a cheaper option for passengers travelling with hand luggage only and that do not require a ticket with flexibility. For an additional fee, passengers will be able to add a piece of luggage or reserve a seat. Will continue to be served for free onboard meals and drinks to passengers.
