Ghana follows the example of Portugal and will fine airlines

In order to avoid a fourth wave and claiming that a high number of new cases have recently been detected at Kotoka International Airport, Kids Acra, Ghana decided to follow Portugal's example and will fine airlines that bring passengers to the airport who are not fully vaccinated.

Failure to comply with these rules may prevent the entry of citizens of other nationalities into the country., which will be sent to the boarding point at a cost to be borne by the airline in question.

The new sanctions come after, na semana passada, Ghana has started to require all passengers over 18 years the presentation of evidence of complete vaccination against the new coronavirus, in order to avoid a fourth wave, claiming that a high number of new cases have recently been detected at the airport.
