The Porto autarchy approved this Monday, a support program for bars and clubs, no valor de 600 mil euros, with the aim of helping the reopening of spaces closed since March 2020.
At the executive meeting, the mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, considered that the decision to close bars and clubs is ideological and is a act of prohibitionism that has not been seen in any country Europe.
According to the proposal, every night space (bar or disco) can apply for a maximum amount of 50 mil euros, num total de 600 mil euros.
The municipal majority considers that, this economic activity, because it was interrupted, evidence of the need for additional support, implemented in the form of a Support Program for the City's Economy - 'Light for the night of Porto', that supports the programming of bars and clubs, até 31 de Dezembro de 2021.
