The Madeira Promotion Association (AP), in partnership with the Portuguese Association of Travel Agencies (APAVT), presented yesterday (28) an e-learning program aimed at national travel agents, with the designation Madeira Specialist.
With the aim of providing the Portuguese travel agents of new selling points on the Madeira Islands, aligned with the strategy that has been defined since 2016, AP will provide an e-learning platform to members of APAVT.
This platform presents its content in split 4 modules, corresponding to 4 courses. There is a main module with the name "Madeira Destination" in which you can find general information about the Archipelago and allows a more horizontal approach to destination. The remaining modules are dedicated to communication axes that AP has been using as a base of its communication: Mar, Nature and Lifestyle. Here you can deepen the knowledge in each of the thematic.
Additionally they have also been developed 5 specialties that are lower modules, but with very specific information about: Walking Tours, Eventos, Laurel forest, Porto Santo Golf and, going against some market niches.
It should also be noted that the completion of the course will be rewarded through a reward system for better and faster learners. Desta forma, para os 100 fast are reserved baskets stuffed flavors of Madeira, Wood particular wine and honey cake, among other surprises. For better and faster form is reserved the Grand Prix will be a "trip 5 stars "Madeira and Porto Santo, para duas pessoas, durante 7 days in which the many experiences.
The School of Hospitality and Tourism of Estoril (ESHTE) It will be the entity that will administer the training design process, up with the responsibility of assessing the training course for trainees, its assessment and respective issue and send the certificates of completion of the platform constant courses. Operational coordination will be made between this entity and AP.
