Óbidos, Guimarães, Funchal, Évora and Cascais are at the forefront of a new tourist product underpinned by a collective program of events, linked to literature and supported by Turismo de Portugal.
The information was disclosed by Humberto Marques, President of the Chamber Óbdiso, which indicated that the process is currently under negotiation phase estimates.
Facing the internationalization Portugal Books will encompass "69 territories with foundations linked to literature and northern writers houses to south and islands", that will create programs and events around the literature. For this will have an online platform and a sightseeing tour, supported by its own team, responsible for production, programming, commercialization (obtaining sponsorship) and also support the organization of events.
