The Government of the Azores approved a resolution that takes up the initiative “Voucher Destino Açores Seguro”, with the allocation of a financial incentive to promote the conduct of screening tests for SARS-CoV-2 prior to shipment to the region.
It should be remembered that the financial incentive attributed to the person who takes the test in advance must be used exclusively for the purchase of goods or services, in any of the member network establishments.
In the statement sent to the newsrooms, it is highlighted that the “Destination Insurance Azores Voucher” is fixed “em 35 euros for all non-resident passengers, over the age of 12 anos, boarding at airports located on the mainland and in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, as well as for other trips originating abroad and disembarking at airports on the islands of Santa Maria, São Miguel, Terceira, Pico and Faial, being issued a ‘voucher’ for each passenger.
