TPNP: pandemic is an opportunity for inland tourism

This is our big opportunity and the numbers show it. It is becoming easier to fill Douro, Trás-os-Montes and Minho and more difficult cities. The person responsible for TPNP, present at the launching ceremony of the first stone of the third phase of the requalification of the Monastery of Ancede, salientou que, before the pandemic, had a problem to solve: the weight of tourism in the Porto Metropolitan Area, that represented 75% of the total region, and failing to bring tourists to magnificent territories like this.

Luís Pedro Martins finishing his speech said that the northern interior has low density territories very full of cultural offer content, gastronomic offer, wines and wine tourism.
