TAP intends to regain proportionality of supply to the North

In a statement issued yesterday (03), TAP reveals that it met with several entities representing Porto and Northern Portugal, with the aim of identifying opportunities that lead to a growth in its operation at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, no Porto.

The national airline also stressed that it is committed to recovering as quickly as possible and in a sustained manner the proportionality of the offer at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, showing himself available to continue the dialogue process.

Na mesma nota, TAP also ensures that the dialogue process with all Portuguese regions will continue.

It should be noted that this position now taken by TAP is due to, certamente, by the then plan to return to the activity of the air carrier, announced last day 25 de Maio, that prior to retaking 27 weekly flights until the end of June and 247 next month, the majority being from Lisbon.

Also yesterday (3), in different context, the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, Pedro Nuno Santos, stated that the North and the city of Porto are too important for the country for TAP not to look at this region with respect, anticipating that the new recovery plan is being worked on.
