Rita Marques reaffirms security of destiny Portugal

The Secretary of State of tourism, Rita Marques, has been relentless in reaffirming to the sending markets that Portugal is a safe tourist destination.

It is up to all of us to ensure that we can interact, following the rules, to make Portugal a safe tourist destination, said the ruling.

Present at the same session, Spain's Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Oliver, noticed that the Iberian Peninsula is a tourist power, stressing that Portugal is very important for Spain due to its proximity, gastronomy and historical and scenic wealth and, por isso, both governments are working very hard to overcome the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
