In order to promote more inclusive tourism, the free GuestAcess application was recently launched.
This application, fruit of the work between the Tourism Innovation Center - NEST and the Accessible Portugal Association, em parceria com o Turismo de Portugal, aims to train the employees of tourist lodges on the theme of accessibility, improving the experience of guests with specific needs in the use of tourist spaces and assisting employees to implement the correct measures for each type of disability.
The development of this new digital tool results from the difficulty, by various companies in the tourism sector, having to invest part of their capital in training or equipment that allows them to respond to all the specific needs of their guests.
So and also to test your knowledge, sector professionals can respond to a 'quizz' and check their aptitude for this aspect, allowing them to detect areas for improvement and, assim, enhance the best tourist enjoyment of its establishments by guests with special needs.
