According to the report that marks the 30 years of the brand in Portugal, McDonald's employs today 8.500 pessoas, tem 183 restaurants and invested about 200 million euros in Portugal in the last 10 anos. Para além disso, worked with more than 700 Portuguese goods companies, services and raw materials.
Still according to McDonald's, those more than 700 Portuguese companies that the brand works with represent 70% of the total of its suppliers.
In addition, the current 183 restaurants are managed, em 90%, under franchising’ por 42 portuguese businessmen.
The first McDonald's Portugal restaurant opened in 23 de Maio de 1991, at CascaiShopping.
