World's oldest thermal hospital reopens to the public

The next day 15 de Maio will mark not only the Day of the City of Caldas da Rainha but also the reopening of the Hospital Termal Rainha D. Leonor, built by Queen D. Leonor.

Considered the oldest thermal hospital in the world, the Queen D. Leonor was closed for four months due to the Covid-19 pandemic, reopening now to continue the airway treatments that are once again available.

In order to comply with all measures imposed by the Directorate-General for Health, the number of users will be limited, there is also an obligation to measure body temperature and the use of appropriate protective equipment.
