Casa Velha was the first gastronomic place of Quinta do Lago, the place where it all started. It was from this farmhouse that, em 1972, the then visionary André Jordan, idealized what has been the Quinta do Lago resort, whose master plan remains intact.
In this fine restaurant with an unquestionable legacy, the chef Alípio Branco, who runs the ‘Casa Velha’ kitchen since 2018, refined the à la carte menu with tempting and handcrafted dishes with fresh flavors, local and seasonal, that surprise every moment and allow an impressive culinary experience, tempting and made with passion and magic. Accompanied by a Portuguese-French pastry chef, that the most delicious and refined desserts come out of your hands, with elegant touches from both countries. For making dishes, ‘Casa Velha’ has seasonal vegetables and herbs from Quinta do Lago organic farm, a Q Farm, que, organically, produces seasonal products for 12 resort restaurants year-round. Casa Velha's chef created a fresh and delicious menu, inspired by Algarve products and ingredients.
– The whole team is safe and secure in order to achieve the first Michelin star, confided to chef Alípio, who received a round of applause from the journalists who participated, the weekend (3 e 4) in the second edition of the Quinta do Lago Gastronomic Tour, project started last year with the aim of showing the best that exists in the resort in terms of catering, with several tasting periods.
