Luísa Giorgensen, of the governing board of the Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies of Cape Verde (AAVTCV) recently stated that Cape Verde's travel and tourism agencies consider that 127 euros set as the maximum price for covid-19 screening tests, will prevent people from traveling. Nesse sentido, the association has already submitted a proposal to the government, for the State to assume in a first phase, over a period of three to six months, pelo menos 50% of the value of the tests.
The AAVTCV representative added yet another difficulty to travel, exorbitant tariffs, or even prohibitive for essential flights.
