In the context of an analysis of the resumption of tourism in the North and of air transport at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, APHORT - Portuguese Hospitality Association, Restauração e Turismo and TAP met recently and established a cooperation platform, with the objective of ensuring an articulation between the airline's perspectives and the priorities for the region's hospitality.
In view of the volatile situation in which we live, where reality can change every month, APHORT and TAP agreed that the permanent exchange of information between the two entities will be vital for the success of the recovery, committing to jointly analyze the reaction of international markets, in order to guarantee that the options that will be taken, in every moment, relevant to the hotel and tourism industry in Porto and Northern Portugal.
Having as scope not only the operations but also the work in terms of associated tourism promotion, this cooperative relationship is intended to extend to a medium-term perspective, according to the pace that the resumption of tourist activity will come to know.
