Created in 1999, the World Airline Awards comes when Skytrax launched its first global airline passenger satisfaction survey.
Actualmente, this survey covers opinions from travelers from 300 airlines in a period of nine months and in 100 países, being the airlines are classified according to approximately 40 criteria, as the check-in, embarque, staff, seat comfort, cleaning and entertainment on board.
This year and for the fourth time, Air Transat received the title of “World's Best Leisure Airline” at the Skytrax World Airline Awards.
It should also be noted that this year's survey encompassed more than 21 million passengers worldwide.
