A successful product from the Portuguese islands may be emerging, a cruise line through the archipelagos of Madeira and the Azores, at least to be judged by the number of contacts made by travel agents with the Madeira Ports Administration, APRAM, with the objective of commercializing this line. Who said it was Paula Cabaço, president of the board of directors of APRAM, considering this action as a strategy to reinvent this segment due to the covid-19 pandemic.
According to the APRAM communiqué, it's broken, operated by the World Voyager ship, will target the German market and its start is scheduled for next June.
The APRAM official stressed that a challenge was launched by Madeira to the Azores to establish a partnership between the two regions, aiming creating a common itinerary, able to attract companies, many of them still standing, in search of new routes.
It should be noted that in addition to Mystic Cruise there are two more companies interested in this route.
