The President of China, Xi Jinping, today inaugurated the bridge linking Hong Kong, Zhuhai e Macau, considered the largest ferry in the world, after nine years of construction.
– I officially open the bridge Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau, said the head of the Chinese State, a short speech during the opening ceremony of the bridge, the Chinese city of Zhuhai, adjacent to Macau.
The bridge is a landmark of regional integration project of the Great Bay, which aims to create a world metropolis from Hong Kong territories, Macau and nine locations of the Chinese province of Guangdong (Canton, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing).
