The 31st edition of the Tourism Fair of Lisbon begins tomorrow (13), quarta-feira, and continues until day 17 de março. For five days, professionals and the public have the opportunity to meet trends, services and domestic and international in the tourism sector.

One of the great novelties of this edition is the Cultural BTL a space dedicated to culture and dissemination of cultural actors as promoters of the tourism sector. BTL Cultural – where culture meets tourism.

This area of ​​BTL will be located in Hall 2 and will enable an immersive experience to the landscape and cultural actors of our country. Developed in partnership with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Cultural BTL will own schedule for day workers, with topics relevant to professionals in the tourism sector and cultural facilities. In the days to the public, each cultural entity present was invited to hold its own shares for this target.

Similarly to the previous year, BTL continues to invest in BTL that in LAB 2019 expands in content and innovation. BTL LAB is a space dedicated to the dissemination of companies operating in the Innovation in Tourism sector and that this issue occupies an area of ​​810m2, doubling last year, no Pavilhão 3. In addition to displays of Startups, LAB is an important stage of debate, trends and exchange of experiences on the theme of innovation and technology. Stimulating this area is the responsibility of organizations such as the Tourism Innovation Center, project-anchor Tourism Program 4.0, joint initiative of the Ministry of economy, the Secretary of State for Tourism and tourism of Portugal. The Tourism Innovation Center will be presented publicly during the BTL. Amadeus Portugal is the LAB auditorium sponsor. A couple of local shows, cuisine and destinations BTL is also an excellent opportunity to plan holidays, be short or long term.
