Aegean announces a new service to Athens

Aegean Airlines, the largest airline of Greece and a member of the Star Alliance, recently announced the entry into operation of a new route, the port to Athens, in the summer of 2018.

Operating on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 6 June and 27 de outubro, the route Port-Athens offers passengers a direct connection to the Greek capital, but also connectivity to all the Greek Islands and mainland Greece.

In addition to the domestic connections, the Service Port-Athens makes a large number of opportunities to link the cities of neighbouring countries, of the Balkans and Turkey, as well as to cities in the Middle East.

Porto-Athens route is the only service to the Greek capital and is the second addition of the Aegean route in Portuguese market, following the Lisbon route-Athens, It opened two years ago.
Os voos, that will match the port on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 23.35 with arrival to Athens at 05.25 h, and outputs of Athens also on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 20.30 h, arriving at Porto to 22.45 h, will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft to 174 lugares, and will offer two classes and full service on board, including complimentary food and drinks.

Business class passengers and Star Alliance Gold card members have access to the business lounge at the airport of Porto, which are also eligible for an extra piece of luggage, as the class of booking made.
